Book launch! Launch party!
It’s book launch week!
Tuesday, July 15th is the official publication date of Take Your Time Before Time Takes You (How to Make the Most of Every Day). It’s my eighth book as author or editor, not counting the multiple anthologies and periodicals that have published my stories, articles, and poetry.
[ Learn how I can help you write and publish your own book. ]
Take Your Time is about making the most of every day, without being prescriptive about what “the most” should mean to you on any given day. The book will help you figure out who you are today, who you want to become, and how to go from here to there.

“A great book with strong, meaningful content… I would recommend it as a go-to guide for people who want to improve their lives but don’t know where to start.”

Book launch event Tuesday, July 15th
When you finally publish a book that has taken you nearly two years to create, well, that’s worth celebrating. So I’m having an informal book launch party on Tuesday, July 15th, at 11 a.m. Pacific.
I’ll take any and all questions. Not just about the book—bring whatever you want to talk about, whatever problem you’re facing, whatever dream you’re having trouble achieving.
Because Tuesday is a good day to get started living your most fulfilling life. Life is short. Why put it off? Also, there’s plenty of time, so don’t sweat the small stuff.
Where to get your copy
Take Your Time is available to order wherever you like to buy books, in e-book, paperback, and hardcover. You can order directly from me, through bookshop.org, or even through Amazon if that’s what you prefer. If you want a signed copy, let me know before you order it. (Or, you can buy it and then come visit me.)
Can’t make it to the party?
That’s okay! Drop me a line or schedule a one-on-one chat. I’d love to hear from you.
And definitely join the Gray Bear email list.
Also, tell everyone you know about this book. I will thank you, and they will thank you.
