It’s almost 2026

Look, I don’t mean to rush you, but it’s almost 2026 and there are only like four shopping days until Christmas. (For me, anyway… I hate shopping and do it as infrequently as possible.)

As we’re already in the third week of Q4 and many of you are thinking about year-end reporting, performance reviews, and excavating the sweaters from storage, I want to remind you of something else.

It’s almost 2026. And that means you will soon need a new wall calendar. I’ve got one you will love.

This is the fourth calendar that Antoinette and I have put out. Each one includes 12 pairings of her gorgeous photography and my poetry, on a beautiful print-on-demand spiral-bound wall calendar.

The 2023 calendar cover. A hand-painted birdhouse hangs in a tree
The 2024 calendar cover. A photo of trees against a blue-and-pink sky at twilight
The cover of the 2025 calendar. Three birds floating in the water, each looking a different direction.
It's almost 2026. Here's the cover of the 2026 calendar. A view of the Oregon coast as seen through a rusty arch in a bride handrail.

The 2026 edition is titled “Discover” because we value lifelong learning, and we intend that 2026 will be a year of exploration, discovery, and wonder. Not just for ourselves, but for you as well.

It’s one of the things I love about a new calendar. Opening it is like that moment on an airplane getting ready to take off, when the plane turns and you get a clear look all the way down the runway… nothing but possibility as far as the eye can see.

On a new calendar, every blank square could be the day you finally do your someday thing.

So, because it’s almost 2026, we did a short unboxing video of the new calendar, which just arrived on Saturday.

I strongly recommend you order your copy soon, and then order a copy for everyone in your company, your family, your writing group, your karate class…

Because it’s print-on-demand, supplies are unlimited, so you’d better hurry before they run out.
